3 Realities That Stop Us from Reaching Our Weight Loss Goals:
1. Inconsistent Routines:
Keeping a consistent routine is crucial for any weight loss journey.
Busy schedules often lead to irregular eating patterns, sporadic workouts, and disrupted sleep.
These inconsistencies can hinder your metabolism and make it challenging to see progress.
Establishing a consistent routine, even in small steps, can create a foundation for sustainable weight loss.
Consistency even trains our brain to maintain a balance and keep the set behaviours on regular intervals.
Start small , start with 10 min HIIT exercises
I do it daily as I wake up get fresh and start doing exercises, now a days I have been able to pull it for 21 minutes 🙂
2. Underestimating Stress:
Stress is a silent saboteur of weight loss. It’s because of Stress hormones are fat storing hormones that encourages mid section fat storage ( belly fat)
High stress levels can also lead to emotional eating and a lack of motivation to stay active.
As a busy mom, managing stress might seem like an afterthought, but finding ways to relax and recharge can significantly impact your weight loss success.
Mindfulness practices, yoga, or simply taking a few minutes for yourself can make a big difference.
Start small with taking deep breaths in stressful situations you face, this is going to distract your mind from stress and help you rethink over it!
For me I keep my balance and checks on stress my journaling and dumping my thoughts , that gives me a great awareness and rethink about what I want to choose.
I follow it with Affirmations and gratitude practice🙂
3. Overlooking Nutrition Quality:
A lot of time you may be curious and puzzled if you are eating right 😑
Nutrition is simple.
It's easy to focus solely on calories without considering the quality of the food you eat.
Processed foods, even those labeled as low-calorie or healthy, can contain hidden sugars and unhealthy fats that derail your progress.
Prioritising whole, nutrient-dense foods will not only support weight loss but also improve your overall health and energy levels.
Start small with setting up a clear eating routine and try and avoid unintentional eating.
